CLEANING SERVICES RATES & TIMINGS

1. Are your cleaning services rates charged by the hour?
Yes, we charge AED 35/hour for regular weekdays and AED 45/hour on Fridays and holidays.

2. Can I avail any discounts or special rates?
Our cleaning services rates are fixed rates. However, you can get discounts depending on the number of hours you book our services per week.

3. Can I book for services even on holidays?
Yes, all the cleaning services we offer are available even on holidays.

4. If I only book a maid for x hours and find that there are more jobs I need done, can I ask the maid to stay and just pay the cleaning services rates for the extra time?
Our maids’ daily schedules are always arranged in advance. On-site requests to extend the time that you booked can only be accommodated if the maid assigned to you is not scheduled to attend another booking.

PAYMENT

1. How do I pay for your cleaning services?
You can choose to pay our maids directly after every visit OR pay in advance any bookings done on a weekly/monthly basis.

2. Do you accept credit cards?
Right now, we only accept cash or cheque payments made payable to “Metropolitan Housekeepers and Maintenance Services“.

GENERAL QUESTIONS

1. Do I have to be there to supervise the maids?
We only request on-site client supervision for our babysitting services. Otherwise, you can just call or email us if you have any specific cleaning instructions or tell them directly to the maid before you leave.

2. What should I do if I’m not going to be at home when the maid comes?
Simply tell us in advance how the maid can get your house key when she arrives and where she should return it afterwards.

3. Will the same maid be assigned to my home every time?
For consistent service, we will always try to provide you with the same maid for regular cleaning bookings or assign a specific maid you request for.

4. If I already have a regular cleaning service booked with you but have to cancel because of something that has come up urgently (Example: traveling), will my scheduled cleaning service still be available when I am back?
If the services you booked have already been paid for in advance, we will be happy to put your scheduled cleaning service on hold until you get back. However, if the booking has not been paid for yet, we request that you give us the exact days you want cancelled and the date you would like for us to resume the service. We will do our best to give you back the same cleaning service schedule when you get back.

5. Do you have a cancelation policy?
We require at least 24hrs notice for all cancelations. Kindly be advised that customers who do not cancel their booking within this prescribed period will still be charged to pay the full amount of the services they reserved.
